Here is how to take care of the breasts and nipples after childbirth that we can do it yourself at home with a super low cost

  1. Use a bra that fits and comfortably to support the breast well. Change bra with a larger size when gestational age or the age of the baby increases.
  2. Keep breasts always clean by bathing with soft soap every day. Gently wipe any dirt that will clog the ducts mouth with warm water and dry with a clean towel and gently.
  3. Rub olive oil on a daily basis while pregnancy because the oil make the nipple to keep the softness and prevent blisters until breastfeeding.
  4. If your nipples are too short and flat, pull each nipple to get out and massage with the thumb and forefinger for a few minutes every day. You can also use a special bra that can protect the nipple.
  5. After a gestation of more than 7 months, massage the black area around the nipple several times each day. This will help to open the milk ducts. Note to always clean the milk droplets to do not dry out and clog the ducts, immediately clean (refers to number 2).

Don't forget to care your nipple to look pink as in our other writings in this blog. Thanks for reading my tips.
